This cabbage dish is great with ham or pork

Cabbage Savoy

SLICE and cut one small head of savoy cabbage into 2-3 inch strips

SAUTE 3 thickly sliced and diced smoked bacon and 1 diced shallot

POUR off any excess fat but leave enough to saute cabbage

ADD cabbage and steam until tender

ADD 1/3 C. cream and stir

SERVE
